(SBOA), the leading buying group within the self storage industry with more than 6,500 locations buying services together from more than 30 vendors, to fill a void in the marketplace for a self storage-focused electronic property listing service. Today, List Self Storage is the preeminent platform for buying and selling self storage properties, development opportunities and conversion listings nationwide, hosting a database of more than 30,000 self storage and real estate professionals. To date, the website has assisted brokers in representing over $2.5 billion in more than 1,200 assets and those numbers continue to increase daily.




Theresa Gallas, President of List Self Storage and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA), has worked in the self storage and real estate industries for more than ten years specializing in negotiations, vendor relations, marketing, real estate transactions, ecommerce and customer service. She currently services as co-chair of the SSA Women’s Council. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University, is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Michigan and is active in her local community, serving on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations.
Alison DeJaeger, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA) and List Self Storage (LSS), has worked in the marketing and public relations fields since 2010 and has a broad range of experience, from event planning to developing email campaigns. Her skillsets include strategic planning, market research, competitive analysis, social media marketing and brand development. Alison is a results-oriented, strategic thinker who can provide significant value in a fast-paced environment. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed expectations, often with limited resources. Alison has a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in communications from Oakland University and is currently working toward her MBA.
Ian Burnstein is an active principal in more than $6 million in real estate investments. He has developed, owned and managed storage facilities since 2001, as co-founder and board member of List Self Storage, co-founder and president of the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA), co-founder and president of SBOA Tenant Insurance, co-founder and chief operating officer of Storage Pros Management, LLC., principal of Find Local Storage and principal of storage Development Partners which deals in self storage acquisition, development and management in eastern states. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Michigan and a member of the State Bar of Michigan. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Detroit Mercy.
David M. Levenfeld, Co-Founder and Board Member of List Self Storage, has worked in the self storage investment community nationwide for more than 25 years. David is also co-founder and CEO of Storage Pros Management LLC and its affiliated companies, as well as co-founder and principal of the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA) and its affiliates including SBOA Tenant Insurance. As principal in numerous partnerships and limited liability companies since 2002, he has led the acquisition and disposition of more than $1 billion self storage properties and brokered more than $130 million self storage facilities and development parcels across the U.S.  David is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
