Tom de Jong with the Colliers International National Self-Storage Practice Group recently represented the buyer on the sale of a 4.59 acre, entitled self storage site in Gilroy, California.
The site was designed for a 100,725 net rentable square foot Class A, single self storage facility with 794 units in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Gilroy at 9080 San Ysidro Ave, adjacent to US 101.
The seller was a private investor that had initial plans to build self storage and medical office buildings on the site.
The buyer, Greystone Holdings, LLC is a private developer of self storage and other commercial real estate assets based in Northern California. Sales price was $3,000,000 or $15.00/SF for the vacant parcel.
