Personal Mini Storage, Central Florida’s largest family owned storage operator, today announces that it has acquired its fifth location in Kissimmee, Florida, an existing facility just north of the U.S. Post Office on Michigan Ave and south of Osceola Parkway. The property, Personal Mini Storage’s 36th location, was formerly known as Char-Jen Self Storage, and will soon undergo major capital improvements in addition to being rebranded.
“We’re thrilled to add another store to the Osceola County market and increase our Central Florida footprint,” said Marc Smith, president of Personal Mini Storage. “We are excited to be bringing considerable changes to the project and improving the customer experience.”
Personal Mini Storage will take on all management components of Char-Jen Self Storage. This includes revenue management, sales, marketing, advertising, goal-setting, HR, accounting, community involvement, customer care, repair and maintenance coordination, among other activities. Personal Mini Storage also plans to rebrand the location and make major capital improvements on the facility over the next few months. Customers will enjoy improved unit options, upgraded fencing, improved lighting, enhanced gate access, as well as U-Haul truck rental, boxes and moving supplies sales and offering tenant insurance to customers.
“Our team is committed to bringing first-in-class service to our new customers!” continued Marc Smith.
